as + ... + as

Peter is as happy as Mary.

not as + .... + as

not so + .... + as

Peter is not as happy as Mary.

Peter is not so happy as Mary.

Peter is not as happy as she.

Peter is not as happy as her.

Peter is not as happy as she/Mary is.

Peter no es tan feliz como ella.

Sustantivos

As much ... as para los sustantivos incontables.

As many .... as para los contables (en plural).

I earn as much money as my husband.

Gano tanto dinero como mi marido.

She has as many dresses as you.

Tiene tantos vestidos como tú.

Verbos

Cuando la comparación se hace entre dos verbos se puede usar la expresión as much as + auxiliarcorrespondiente (tanto en oraciones afirmativas como en negativas).

He doesn´t play as much as he should.

No juega tanto como debería.
